During the 2020-21 school year, Nashville Public School District services 411 English Learners with six different languages.  Our ELs make up approximately 22% of the district population.

Number of Students Who Received ESL Intervention:

During the 2020-2021 school year, 272 of our ELs attending Nashville Public School District receive ESL intervention services from trained certified teachers and ESL Paraprofessionals.

Number of Monitored EL Students

During the 2020-2021 school year, the Nashville Public School District monitors 94 English Learners who have exited the ESL Program and no longer requires services.  These students are monitored for four years and are then considered fully exited.
