Nashville School District
The state and federal guidelines require destruction of all special education due process records within six years after a student leaves the special education program.
You have the right to review or pick up your child’s due process records if special education services were given. You may call the office of the Nashville School District’s superintendent from July 5th-19th to arrange to pick up the records. These records are NOT your child’s permanent school records. These records contain special education due process forms and evaluations. Records, which date prior to the 15-16 school year, will be destroyed at a time after July 19.
The Nashville School District is dedicated to serving students with a free and appropriate public education, and meeting the individual needs of each student. For more information, please contact us at 870-845-3425.
